I run a store called MIGLIOBE, a mizuhiki shop in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
I am originally from Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Mizuhiki was inspired by a congratulatory gift bag I received when I got married, and I thought, "One motif, the crane, is expressed in various ways of knotting. I also found one congratulatory envelope that I thought was probably handmade ？, and I thought I might be able to do it ！.
Then, I found a master who was arranging mizuhiki in Nagasaki City and studied for a year and a half.
At that time, I learned how to tie knots, but my teacher also taught me that "the power of color design is also important" in mizuhiki.
While learning from him, I felt that I wanted to value the thought that goes into each piece, such as the use of color and the meaning of the motifs.
Immediately after I finished my training, I became a certified color coordinator （ I am currently in the third grade ） I am also researching color combinations for mizuhiki.
I am not yet at a professional level when it comes to color, but I hope you will accept my sensibility.

What I want you to see in this channel is that you can "catch happiness with mizuhiki".
The reason is that I want you to feel the happiness yourself when you imagine the joy of the recipient's face and the sense of accomplishment when the congratulatory gift bag is completed.
